I am proud to be a Sykes employee but not a Qwest employee.
The purpose of this e-mail is to awaken the higher ops with regard to the things these people are doing with Qwest account based from the things that I have observed and based from the personal experiences of other Qwest employees from the top level managers of this account.
Sykes should also look into these things and create a some sort of a program that would protect people who are not part of the management for their personal gain.
People reading this e-mail would think that I am a coward most especially those people who are affected by my claim and personal experiences of other agents.
Indeed, I am afraid, because I don’t know what these people would do to me. Since I am not even part of their circle.
We are hoping that some action can be done on this.
Everyone, those of you who are in the production floor reading this e-mail, we out number these people. If we will unite and speak out like I did, the higher management would definitely listen to us. My voice is so little if I will work alone but if everyone would speak up and share their own experiences we can prove our point.
The truth about the Qwest Account
Be part of their circle and you’ll get all the perks you need leaving those people behind that really deserves it. This causes us agents not to perform well that leads to resignation.
Instead of wasting money on hiring and training new people for Qwest, create a retention plan on how an employee would like to stay in the account.
Reasons For High Attrition In Qwest:
No growth. There’s growth if you have to be a friend of Gerard Grant Buitizon, Bolen Arribe, Sherwin Torres, Angelo Escarte, Paolo Lopez, Royce Buencamino, Gener Acuña, Michael Janeo and Gerard Buitizon.
People who gets the promotion does not even deserves the promotion from the very first place. While those people who deserves it, yeah, they promote them but as interns for a very, very, very long time and you don’t even know when you will really get the post.
People who works well without manipulating their stats are the ones terminated or remediated from the account.
The account managers asks for valid receipts whenever they are liquidating some cash advances. Where the hell did the money go? We didn’t even benefited from the money.
Schedule run for the next two months. Two months combined data plus the running month data are used to know who’s the team will get the schedule they deserves. But once the schedule has been finalized, you would notice these teams (Age Escarte, Sherwin Torres, Royce Buencamino, Macky Clavero always have a weekend off and with a hazard shift.
Power trippers. Since these people are in the post, they use all possible force they can use in order to terminate people they like.
The metrics are so very high and impossible to meet that leads us to or most agents to manipulate their stats.
The account treats people as trash as people in Qwest are replaceable.
The company policy states that if you won’t be able to report for your shift, you have to call OMD two hours prior to your shift. For absence incurred more than 3 days, that’s the time you need to present a medical certificate or any documents to validate the employee’s claim. With Qwest, if you were absent for just a day, a medical certificate or any documents is still required to be submitted else it would be tagged as an AWOL.
Actually, even if you were absent for a number of days and the employee has submitted all types of documents to validate it’s claim, the account would still tag you as AWOL even if you are already dying.
Even if you have a high fever, the account would still require you to report for work and will ask you to go to Makati Medical Center for a check up then that’s the only time they would let you go home to take a rest. Else it would tagged as an AWOL again even if you have notified them two hours prior to your shift though you weren’t able to report for work and go to Makati Medical Center for checkup.
I do understand how crucial it is for the account to have the right number of people per shift so that the business would run smoothly without any problem.
However, for humanitarian consideration, like those people that our out of the metro, the time spent traveling would just worsen the situation and condition of the employee. Instead of taking a rest for a day in order for the employee to get well and report back immediately to work , since I am afraid to be sanctioned due to unexcused absence, I will force myself to work in order for me to have my checkup in Makati Medical Center. This is just a waste of time, money and effort on the part of the employee if later on the account has found out that indeed you are not fit to work.
I know that we are just doing this in order to protect the account for those people who are falsifying their claim. But there are other means to validate an employee’s claim of his/her absence by calling the doctor or does the medical certificate has the license number of the doctor.
Qwest Power Trippers
Gerard Buitizon, girl snatcher and the terminator. He’ll do everything he can in order to get the attention he deserves from the girl he wants within the account. Giving out a hazard shift and a Sat-Sun off. He has a bias decision because of his friends Bolen Arribe, Michael Janeo, Macky Clavero, Age Escarte, Royce Buencamino and Paolo Lopez.
EOP (English Only Please) is always implemented on the floor but these people, when they gather around within the production floor, their the ones who breaks the rule first. Some of the language auditors are part of their elite circle. Gerard is capable with this post but doesn’t have fair treatment with other people and since he has the full power on his hand, expect that you would be terminated, so be careful.
Bolen Gene Arribe, the so-called mouth of the south. Why? He just keeps on talking but he doesn’t even know what he is talking about. This account manager is always caught sleeping on duty, he pretends he’s busy by calling out to his friends on his AVAYA or browsing the Internet. This is the reason why he likes the morning shift. If you are an agent and you have been caught sleeping in the production floor even if it’s your lunch and break schedule. You would get an incident report that would lead to a number of days suspension, worse case you would be terminated. He has terminated a lot of people, some of them are valid but most of them are not. I heard him even say that agent’s are idiots in tagalog “mga tanga ang mga agents”. Instead of motivating words, you get insulting words from this guy that will make you decide to leave the company. He pretends he cares for you but he deosn’t.
Gener Acuña, the silent gay. He caresses the chests of those guys in Qwest account that he likes as he reports for work. Yes, he do this on a daily basis and he gets frustrated if the agent is on rest day. This is how the actual scenario you’ll see whenever he reports for work. He goes and visits the workstation of the agent personally so he can do his act. This is already a sexual harassment, since the victims love their jobs, they just let him perform their act. He doesn’t give fair judgement, why did I say this, if you have done wrong in the account, expect that you’ll get terminated even if you are showing some improvement.
Paolo Lopez this is their guy in OMD. He treats all agents as trash not unless If you are part of their circle. You’ll be compliant with your schedule adherence even if you didn’t took it on time. How? I don’t know, probably he has full access to some of OMD’s tool.
John Michael Tan, wow, I really don’t know how come this guy qualified as a mentor and as a LAU. He even speaks tagalong. So where’s the integrity of this person as a LAU? He just reports those people who are not included in their circle.
These are just some of the things that are happening in the account. I don’t want to mention anything anymore as I maybe creating a novel already.
